Magichange

Recruited monsters can become weapons, armor, or neckpieces. The monster changes into a weapon or armor and gives the character a benefit of a boon capable of bestowing a PC class at-will as an encounter power and more powerful monsters a particular classes encounter power as a daily power. The boon itself depends on the monster. For example an Efreet would give a wizard’s ability of Scorching Burst and Burning Hands. Weapons also give Advantage for all of their attacks, and Disadvantage against all attacks made against the character. You can only have one piece of magichanged gear equipped at one time (weapon/armor/necklace).

The monster also acts as a magical weapon based on its level. For example a monster of level 6-10 would grant a +2 enhancement to attack rolls, damage rolls, and 2d6 extra damage on a critical hit

Weapons

  • Level 01 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter) / +1 to attack and damage / 1d6 on critical / advantage on any attack made with the weapon
  • Level 03 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 01 encounter as daily)
  • Level 06 – +2 to attack/damage/2d6 on critical
  • Level 08 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 03 encounter as daily)
  • Level 11 – +3 to attack/damage/3d6 on critical
  • Level 13 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 07 encounter as daily)
  • Level 16 – +4 to attack/damage/4d6 on critical
  • Level 18 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 13 encounter as daily)
  • Level 21 – +5 to attack/damage/5d6 on critical
  • Level 23 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 17 encounter as daily)
  • Level 26 – +6 to attack/damage/6d6 on critical
  • Level 28 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 23 encounter as daily)

Armor/Neck

  • Level 01 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter) / +1 to AC or NADS / Disadvantage on attacks made against AC (Armor) or Nads (Neckpiece)
  • Level 03 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 01 encounter as daily)
  • Level 06 – +2 to AC (for armor) or NADS (Neckpiece)
  • Level 08 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 03 encounter as daily)
  • Level 11 – +3 to AC (for armor) or NADS (Neckpiece)
  • Level 13 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 07 encounter as daily)
  • Level 16 – +4 to AC (for armor) or NADS (Neckpiece)
  • Level 18 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 13 encounter as daily)
  • Level 21 – +5 to AC (for armor) or NADS (Neckpiece)
  • Level 23 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 17 encounter as daily)
  • Level 26 – +6 to AC (for armor) or NADS (Neckpiece)
  • Level 28 – Magichange (At-will power as an encounter, level 23 encounter as daily)
